Gloria Alvarez Gomez, Program Manager / Director

Gloria Alvarez Gomez was hired as the Program Manager/Director of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe Charitable Organization as of November 2021. She is an enrolled tribal member of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and resides on the Pascua Yaqui Reservation. Gloria holds a Masters degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. Prior to working for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe Charitable Organization, Gloria worked for the Social Services Children’s Unit. Gloria has been involved with the community in various capacities for many years that involved both the youth and adults from the Yaqui Little League to Religious education and various community events. She has many ties with the Yaqui Communities both in the State of Arizona and in the Pueblos of Sonora.
